Overview
SENIOR ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (AT) :
The Sr. Engineering Technician position is responsible for supporting manufacturing projects. This position combines hands-on technical work and maintenance of equipment and supplies. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with engineering drawings and quality assurance techniques, organizational skills, in depth experience with precision machining operations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The position is 100% on site in Indian Head, MD.
Responsibilities
Senior Engineering Support :
- Assist in the manufacture, assembly, testing, and maintenance of mechanical systems, machinery, and prototypes.
- Collaborate with engineers to modify designs and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Operate and maintain tools, machinery, and equipment.
- Perform quality inspections on parts, components, and final assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Interpret and work with engineering drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Utilize metrology tools and techniques to ensure precise measurements and alignment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of test results, repairs, and engineering processes.

The salary range for this position is between $80,000 - $110,000 depending on experience.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS : Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
