Service Manager – Electrical

What We’re Looking For

We want a Service Manager to join our team and have full ownership in our service department. This is your chance to build something incredible, lead like an entrepreneur, and grow within an organization that provides you with the resources to succeed.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Run the Show. Lead the service department with autonomy and authority. Drive its success by managing multiple service projects under $100,000 from start to finish.
  • Drive Business Growth. Identify and develop new opportunities by building strong relationships with clients and industry professionals.
  • Safety Leader. Enforce and uphold our high safety standards on all job sites.
  • Manage People and Projects. Oversee and schedule delivery of resources, field staff, and equipment so every project meets deadlines, quality standards, and budgets.
  • Strategize and Plan. Partner with Superintendents and Foremen to plan and schedule manpower effectively.
  • Oversee Budgets. Monitor financials and ensure projects remain on or under budget. Prepare monthly updates on costs and project progress.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders. Serve as the main point of contact between architects, contractors, and owners, ensuring the smooth execution of projects.
  • Visit Job Sites Regularly. Conduct site visits to maintain oversight and ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and consistently.
  • Manage Change. Handle and track Change Orders with confidence and attention to detail.
  • Stay Ahead. Keep paperwork, reports, and project filings up to date and organized.

 

What You Bring

  • 5 years of Electrical Construction Experience (this is non-negotiable). 
  • Journeyman’s License is required.
  • Master Electrician License preferred or willingness to obtain one.
  • Expert understanding of electrical codes, construction methods, and blueprints.
  • Skilled at identifying and developing new opportunities through relationship building.
  • Expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using project management tools and office applications.
  • A proven ability to motivate and manage a team while maintaining strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills focused on detail and delivering results under tight deadlines.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to work in an office where the job performance may require a long time sitting or standing.
  • Produce, file, and perform other administrative functions as assigned.
  • Ability to wear job-specific required PPE as needed.
  • Must be able to drive to various customer sites as required.
     

Work Environment:

  • Well-lit, heated, and/or air-conditioned modern office setting with adequate ventilation.
  • Employees may experience exposure to heat, cold, wind, rain, and snow on job sites.
