Job Title: Clinical Speech Language Therapist
Role Overview:
As a key member of our healthcare team, the Clinical Speech Language Therapist plays a vital role in providing high-quality speech and language services to patients. This role requires evaluating and treating patients referred for speech/language services, developing treatment plans, and performing other duties as directed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat all patients referred for speech/language services, utilizing evidence-based practices to optimize outcomes.
- Develop and document individualized treatment plans that align with patient goals and needs.
- Administer and apply various speech/language pathology treatment modalities as prescribed by referring physicians.
- Perform routine assessments, evaluations, and testing procedures to diagnose and treat communication disorders.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
- Current Utah State license as a Speech Pathologist.
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology with completion of clinical fellowship year and certification of clinical competence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Able to demonstrate empathy and compassion when interacting with patients and families.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and develop effective solutions.
