What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dialysis Technician position at UINTAH BASIN HEALTHCARE?
The Dialysis Technician will be responsible for job duties that include but are not limited to the following:
- Performs maintenance and operation of dialysis equipment and supplies
- Initiate dialysis and care for patients during dialysis treatments
- Maintains inventory and a rotation system of reuse supplies
- Assists nurses in monitoring dialysis patients and equipment
- Instructs patients in self-care to prevent complications between dialysis visits
- Maintains accurate patient records
- Communicate and transfer patient information to the appropriate personnel
