Job Focus: The Director of Service Industries leads, administers, instructs, and advances the instructional programs, accreditation, curricula, and courses of study in Service Industries related programs, to provide for an environment which fosters positive attitudes, creativity, and learning in accordance with appropriate accreditation/certification standards. Under general direction of the Associate Vice President of Instructional Services, this position instructs some courses in the Service Industries programs as appropriate and performs a variety of administrative duties, as required, to assist and evaluate instructors in educating students from different backgrounds, in the classroom and in the lab, using a variety of teaching methods.

Desired Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
2. Teaching experience in an adult education environment
3. Three (3) years' progressive experience in business
4. Personnel management background
5. Proficient computer skills
6. Must successfully pass criminal background check
7. Valid driver's license
Note: Related work experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
