What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director, Asset Management position at Uip?
Seeking a Director to partner with our Asset Management team in implementing and managing business plans and budgets. This role requires critical support for pricing and reporting, as well as driving maximum shareholder value through strategic planning and outstanding employee and resident experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement strategic business plans and budgets for each property in the portfolio to drive maximum shareholder value.
- Ensure timely reporting on all assets whether monthly or quarterly.
- Work closely with the Accounting Team, Regional Directors, and the VP of Development to provide investor reporting.
- Implement and support governance with Regional Managers.
- Partner with the Marketing team to make strategic recommendations and implement strategy.
- Oversee forecasting and budgeting processes in collaboration with the Property Management team.
- Understand and track NOI performance across the portfolio.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
- Experience managing a team.
- Roles with progressively more responsibilities in multifamily and commercial asset management.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel and Word) required.
- Previous experience with industry-specific management software strongly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational management skills.
