UiPath is looking for a visionary and highly skilled Principal Designer to join our dynamic company. As a Principal Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the design direction of our products and ensuring that our user experiences are intuitive, engaging, and aligned with our business goals. You will lead design initiatives, mentor junior designers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding design solutions. Above all, you will inspire everyone around you though design vision for UiPath and how it comes to life.
We are a global team, who enjoy both working remotely and/or in the office. We work closely with Product Managers to create forward thinking designs that are user-centered and align to business goals. We are huge fans of sticky notes, whiteboard sketching, and immersing ourselves in customer feedback.

Many of our roles allow for flexibility in when and where work gets done. Depending on the needs of the business and the role, the number of hybrid, office-based and remote workers will vary from team to team. Pay Transparency
The anticipated base salary range for this position is between $187,500 and $281,250. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location and relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.

What You'll Do At UiPath
Product
- Contribute to and execute on the strategy and planning for your offering(s)
- Coordinate with your PM and Engineering counterparts
- Accountable for developing clear business requirements and prioritization of work
- Present complex design concepts to key stakeholders and business partners
- Find a meaningful balance between optimizing for speed, quality, and innovation
- Align with the overall design vision and goals.
- Make users are your North Star. Measure success based on the value you bring to them
- Plan and schedule design team critiques, design reviews and research activities
- Partner with product management and engineering to drive improvements to our processes
- Comfortably lead and inspire
- Create opportunities for designers to grow and flourish
- Provide guidance, oversight, and mentorship to the team
- Set expectations and help to promote a fun, highly collaborative team culture
- Attract, retain, and develop top talent, handle resource and budget management
- Proactively identify and resolve impediments
- Foster cross-functional collaboration (e.g., with Engineering & Product Management
- Bachelor's degree in product design, communication design, or equivalent experience
- 6 years of product work and Figma related experience required
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to engage successfully with many different stakeholders and product leaders.
- Solid understanding of cross platform design systems and technical frameworks
- Project management skills to prioritize design needs and ensure successful project completion.
- Experience in Business Automation space is a plus, but not a requirement
- Recent use and knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, a plus.
