Certification Requirements
The following certifications are mandatory:
- National Institutes of Health (NIH) Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Certification
- National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NIHSS) Certification
Job Details
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience working in an Emergency Room setting.
Previous experience in a trauma level one setting is not required, but travel experience is preferred.
Relocation assignments for longer than 1 week require special approval.
Required Licenses
A valid Kentucky nursing license or compact multi-state license is required.
