The Department of Psychiatry seeks a motivated accounting/financial professional to serve as the Department Administrator. Reporting to the Chair of the department, the Department Administrator directs financial, operational, and human resources initiatives to support the various clinical, research, and education missions of the Department of Psychiatry. This includes serving as the lead financial administrator for the department, preparing the annual operating budget as well as performing ongoing income/expense analysis. Other duties include ensuring compliance with all Human Resources and University policies and procedures, and recommending process and policy improvements. The Department Administrator will have supervisory responsibilities and spend part of their efforts on strategic projects and initiatives. The individual will provide oversight and focus on fiscal management, purchasing, contract management, grants administration, faculty and staff affairs, facilities management and other duties as required. This individual will serve as a member of the department’s administration team to help build, manage and execute multi-year strategic plans to improve and maintain the provision of behavioral health services across the UKHC Enterprise and UK College of Medicine.
