User & Application Support
- Provide responsive and high-quality support to a user base of approximately 700.
- Resolve tickets efficiently, deliver user training, and maintain a positive user experience.
- Offer flexible support, including evenings and weekend work during peak periods (May to July).
- Troubleshoot application issues and implement effective fixes or workarounds.
- Support technical change implementations with thorough testing and risk management.
- Handle business-as-usual (BAU) admin tasks (e.g., joiners, movers, leavers).
- Assist in deployment and release activities, including out-of-hours support.
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party suppliers to ensure the smooth operation of audit tools and systems.
- Identify opportunities to improve system usability and performance, coordinating with internal teams and suppliers to support configuration changes and updates.
- Contribute to roadmap planning and support the ongoing development of audit applications.
- Undertake testing of system changes, releases, and software updates.
- Develop and execute test scripts, evaluate results, and advise stakeholders on release readiness.
- Manage support tickets with third-party suppliers and participate in troubleshooting.
- Work collaboratively to resolve issues, escalate concerns, and ensure service levels are met.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of support actions and system changes.
- Develop and manage internal knowledge base content to support self-service and team learning.
- Produce regular reports and insights on support activities.
- Support ad hoc project work, particularly during the transition of applications from development into business-as-usual (BAU) operation.Skills requiredEducation/work experience
- Proven experience in technical support roles, ideally using industry best practices.
- Prior experience in a professional services environment is a plus.
- Solid understanding of IT operations and the role of business applications.
