Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic procedures and other duties as assigned.
- Ensure the accuracy of ordered exams and compliance with workflow per guidelines and policy.
- Calculate appropriate exposure factors and evaluate images for diagnostic quality.
- Assist Radiologists and other health care practitioners with invasive procedures.
- Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during the exam.
- Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with regulations and ensure patient and employee safety.
- Evaluate images for technical quality, and exposure.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor degree from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Licensed by the Kansas Board of Healing Arts as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Registered by the ARRT
- CPR/BLS Certification
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Previous radiology experience
