Responsibilities
- Provide quality processed and sterilized instrumentation and supplies throughout the hospital, following regulatory guidelines and departmental procedures.
- Assuring suitable delivery of instrumentation to all departments serviced.
- Support and promote departmental priorities with respect to personal and patient safety.
- Effectively organize activities in a time efficient manner to ensure the delivery of care is proficient.
- Comprehend and complete regulatory record-keeping as set by departmental policies.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High school or equivalent education.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Central Sterile Processing Setting.
- Must be able to lead team members successfully in a high stress environment.
- CBSPD certification or equivalent for Sterile Instrument Processing. Must be completed no more than one year after date of hire.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Surgical instrumentation is preferred.
