Job Summary
Under supervision of the site administrator, the Clerk / Support performs general clerical work involving typing and other related duties. This is the entry-level position in the clerical series; duties assigned are routine and of average difficulty, requiring little exercise of independent judgment.
Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS :
ABILITY TO :
- Type with speed and accuracy (35 WPM required, 45 WPM desired).
- Understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
- Spell correctly and to use good English.
- Make simple arithmetical calculations.
- Operate standard office equipment, including phones and other communication devices.
- Operate computer terminals and word processing programs.
- Work cooperatively with students, other employees and the public.
