Reporting to the Director, Regional Marketing, the Manager, Global Events is responsible for shaping and executing events that align with the company’s performance expectations. Working as part of the Regional Marketing team, you will be responsible for driving excellence and consistency across all physical and digital events. This includes leading the development of a global events program, ensuring that events are strategically aligned with our goals, overseeing event selection, budget planning, operational rigor and high-quality execution.
This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of event trends, audience preferences, and industry best practices. The Manager, Global Events will collaborate closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless event delivery. Additionally, you will play a critical role in creating and implementing event planning policies, standards, and procedures that maintain consistency and scalability across events worldwide. This role requires a demonstrated ability to communicate with influence, build alignment and deliver results in a highly matrixed organization.

Responsibilities
- Accountable for end-to-end event process, operational execution, and measurement. Works with global team to deliver efficient and effective event execution and evaluates and optimizes process for continuous improvement.
- Ensure that there is a comprehensive strategy for all Tier 1events that aligns with organizational objectives and audience needs.
- Analyze post-event feedback, attendee engagement metrics, and other performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of the event experience and performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Demonstrate fiscal responsibility for forecast and budget management and drive that mindset across a matrix organization.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor strategies to continuously innovate and enhance event experiences and effective cost management.
- Collaborate across the organization, driving performance, operational information, and communications at every stage of the event cycle.
- Be part of the evolution: bring innovative ideas to elevate and automate events and technology solutions that improve the participant experience live and virtually including registration, meeting schedules, satisfaction surveys, mobile app, and more.
- Establish, develop and maintain scalable event processes within the department that guarantee best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related disciplines
- 6 years of experience in corporate event programming or related roles, including experience promoting services.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful large-scale events or conferences.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and driving cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate vision, influence stakeholders, and present ideas effectively.
- Strong presentation skills, with experience delivering updates to both cross-functional and senior leaders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, identify insights, and translate them into actionable event recommendations.
- Creative and solution-focused mindset with a passion for storytelling and creating memorable event experiences.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Budget management, negotiation, and financial analysis skills
- Expert management abilities to guide direct reports and matrixed resources

Salary : $86,000 - $120,000
