Job Description
UL Solutions is seeking a mid-level Engineer to join the Energy Advisory Team.
The role contributes to the development of innovative, analytical, high-quality products and services, typically working on several projects in parallel and with all levels of staff. This position will work under the direction of an Energy Team Leader having responsibility for the completion of high-quality wind energy analysis work.
The analysis of wind energy projects involves working across the full spectrum of analysis from initial data acquisition and validation, long-term speed estimates, energy modeling through losses and uncertainties evaluation, in support of the completion of bankable energy production assessments.
This role can be hybrid or remote.
Responsibilities
- Timely and efficient completion of high-quality wind energy analysis work.
- Carry out both pre-construction and operational energy analyses under supervision, including :
Compilation, validation, and analysis of meteorological data for wind resource assessments

Total Rewards : We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career . The estimated salary range for this position is $92,000 - $120,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge / skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 10% of the base salary.
This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
