Job Description
We are currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative who is a results-oriented professional with excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Our Inside Sales Representatives manage established accounts and prospect leads to increase our customer base. They will participate in a product orientation program to quickly gain expertise with Ulbrich's products, customers and precision manufacturing processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Managing an inside sales territory;
- Building strong customer relationships;
- Assisting with forecasting and inventory management;
- Making outbound sales calls for the purpose of prospecting, expanding the customer base, and for marketing of additional products/product applications or services to existing customers;
- Responding to inbound sales calls/customer telephone inquiries concerning all company products, processing services, pricing and delivery options;
- Providing verbal and written quotations, negotiating order level pricing and order level freight terms, and determining inventory availability; and
- Documenting customer orders in an accurate and timely manner, maintaining account files, preparing reports and corresponding as required.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
- A college degree in Business, Engineering, or related field;
- A minimum of 2 years outbound/inbound business to business technical sales experience in a manufacturing or service center setting;
- Previous experience in account management;
- Previous experience in the metals industry (wire products experience a plus);
- Results oriented sales professional with excellent communication, customer service, negotiation, organizational and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to understand and work effectively with the specifications and application of an extensive and technical product line; and
- Proficiency in the use and application of MS Office software, including E-mail and Internet technology (CRM experience a plus.)
