Job Requirements
The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of three years of previous experience in a manufacturing shipping/receiving environment. A High School diploma or GED equivalent is required, and an associate degree is preferred. The successful candidate must be able to work safely, follow all service center safety procedures, and ensure that all freight carriers adhere to these procedures.
- Review completed orders to ensure that freight terms and any special shipping instructions are being followed.
- Notify customers or contact the appropriate freight carriers to arrange shipments to meet requested ship dates.
