Marketing Content Manager , based in our Columbia, MD office.The Marketing Content Manager leads and optimizes marketing operations for the Fire Safety Research Institute (FSRI) to drive efficiency, streamline processes, and ensure the successful execution of research amplification campaigns. The Marketing Content Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams, including research amplification, communications, data analytics, education and training, and IT, to implement and manage marketing technologies, tools, and systems. The Marketing Content Manager analyzes performance metrics, identifies areas for improvement, and implements strategies to enhance the effectiveness of research initiatives.What you'll learn and achieve : Oversee and maintain FSRI's digital platforms, including fsri.org, batteryfiresafety.org, smokealarms.org, closeyourdoor.org, neris.fsri.org, materials.fsri.org, fireinvestigation.fsri.org, and training.fsri.org. Ensure the seamless deployment of content, SEO optimization, asset management, and provide troubleshooting and technical support for all sites.Lead the development, launch, and ongoing maintenance of a new fsri.org website.Manage, enhance, and integrate the marketing technology stack to boost efficiency and enable data-driven strategies.Collaborate with amplification, education, and IT peers to execute strategic campaigns.Partner with FSRI's marketing and communications team and ULRI's shared services to coordinate and execute FSRI email marketing campaigns and CRM initiatives.Oversee the integration, functionality, and security of FSRI's project management, content creation systems, technologies, and databases.Partner with marketing strategy experts and data scientists to develop and maintain performance metrics and reporting frameworks that track key performance indicators (KPIs) and assess campaign effectiveness.Analyze marketing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights, and make data-driven recommendations to optimize marketing strategies.Generate regular reports on marketing activities and campaign results, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.What makes you a great fit : Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within deadlines.Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, data analytics tools, and project management software.Analytical mindset with excellent data interpretation and reporting skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify opportunities for process optimization and drive continuous improvement.Knowledge of digital marketing trends, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.Familiarity with compliance and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and their impact on marketing operations.Professional education and experience requirements for the role include : Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).Minimum 8 years of experience in marketing operations or a similar role, with a deep understanding of marketing processes and technologies.
