THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:

 

The Brand Partner Relationships and Analytics Manager is responsible for driving both short-term and long-term sales and growth initiatives by supporting bringing the priorities to life of Ulta Beauty field and brand partner leadership. This role aligns with corporate marketing, merchandising, and brand launches through event initiatives and brand field support opportunities. The Manager will lead the development and implementation of incremental brand event and sales-driving strategies to drive growth through conversion, average ticket, units per transaction, and positive comp performance, etc. This position plays a pivotal role in fostering and maintaining brand partner relationships and acts as a vital communication link between the corporate office, field teams, and brands, ensuring effective feedback and adaptation to changes. 

 

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills, with a proven history of managing multiple projects simultaneously, influencing teams, and driving successful results in a retail, operational, or service-related industry. 

 

The Brand Partner Relationships and Analytics Manager is a champion of Ulta Beauty’s mission, vision, and    values, demonstrating them skillfully and consistently through the following duties (as well as other assigned projects)

 

YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:       

  • Develop and implement strategic sales-driving initiatives in collaboration with brand and merchant teams.
  • Oversee brand event performance reporting for merchants and brands, ensuring accurate and actionable insights.
  • Build and maintain strong merchant, field, and brand relationships to enhance brand support in-store.
  • Develop strategies to stimulate brand field support opportunities and drive growth.
  • Identify and support opportunities for field team growth and development in collaboration with merchants and brand partners.
  • Lead and facilitate brand roundtables for senior leadership, ensuring alignment and strategic focus.
  • Implement a structured strategy for ongoing brand touchpoints to strengthen relationships and maximize performance.
  • Drive event sales to budget through effective event performance, including metrics such as conversion, loyalty, AT, and UPT, etc.

      People

  • Attract, hire, and retain a diverse team of top talent.
  • Assess performance, coach, and develop leadership, encouraging a culture of growth and accountability.Collaborate cross-functionally to develop event concepts, support new event and sales driving initiatives, and track and analyze performance.
  • Work closely with peers to create and execute brand partner strategies and initiatives that drive in-store performance.
  • Serve as the liaison between brand field teams and Ulta Beauty field teams, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  • Partner with the People Success team to address feedback from Ulta field and brand teams.
  • Develop and maintain strategies and documentation supporting brand partner tools and education.
  • Host quarterly brand partner meetings for SVP/RVP leadership to facilitate ongoing collaboration and strategic alignment.

        Process

  • Identify and prioritize brand partner process improvement opportunities, conducting annual reviews to enhance store standards, consistency, operational efficiency, and guest experience.
  • Lead the brand partnership quarterly event communication process, ensuring clear and consistent messaging.
  • Support the event communication process for senior leadership, providing timely and relevant updates.
  • Develop and adapt leadership content and materials for business partner meetings, responding to changing company needs.
  • Stay informed on competitive information to influence and drive continued performance improvements.
  • Adapt to business needs by refining processes and supporting brands through changes.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with brand partners on business and event strategy to drive growth.
  • Manage the ongoing event portal functions, including brand partner access and password updates.
  • Develop and distribute weekly event reporting to brand partner teams, managing and communicating brand-specific feedback from field teams. 

Pr  Experience

  • Previous experience in retail or brand partnership.
  • Experience leading and influencing a team of direct and indirect reports.
  • Experience developing and executing strategic objectives aligned with corporate priorities.
  • Retail management experience ideal.
  • Experience leading brand or retailer field sales

 

 

 

THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing (or related field), or relevant professional experience.
  • 10 years of event planning, field sales and/or brand partner management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Superior presentation skills, both virtually and in person.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Proven organizational skills with the analytical ability to problem-solve, multi-task, and prioritize effectively.
  • Energy, enthusiasm, and drive to manage a heavy workload continuously and proactively.
  • Expert proficiency with PowerPoint and presentation software.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with all key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel, including overnight stays up to 50% or as required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
