POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Inventory Analyst is responsible for implementing and executing an efficient and profitable replenishment strategy to achieve sales, selling margin, and inventory goals in conjunction with cross functional partners to drive business strategies. They will manage the allocation and replenishment of designated product category(s) to maintain an in –stock standard while achieving planned inventory financial objectives.
They will drive the business forward through process improvement and consistent re-evaluation of strategies.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with planners and buyers to develop and execute an inventory strategy to support sales, funding margin, and turn.
- Create purchase orders for all ads, events including weekly replenishment and promotional orders leveraging forecasts.
- Maintain a healthy inventory position by reviewing and updating item level forecasts within the replenishment system.
- Provide analytics/insights to support business decisions to optimize sales and productivity, utilizing weekly reporting metrics to make informed decisions.
- Communicate with brand partners to understand inventory constraints and anticipate potential risks.
- Participates in continuous improvement projects to support company and merchandising departmental growth, process improvement, and new ways of working.

- On-boarding of new hires & counterparts
REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or relevant work experience required
- 2-4 years of experience in merchandise planning, inventory or buying experience preferred
- Forecast and Replenishment system knowledge preferred
- Ability to work with large amounts of data into trends and develop accurate and actionable insights based on the data
- Strong collaborator with both internal partners and external brand partners
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong listening skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills with solid proficiency in usage of Excel. Working knowledge of SAP or JDA a plus
- Process improvement advocate, desire to conduct stretch assignments to improve our team and departmental processes
- Excellent organizational skills with a strong eye for detail, and capable of multi-tasking
- Strong problem solving, retail math, and analytical skills
- Strong work ethic, ability to meet tight deadlines/thrive in fast-paced environment
