What are the responsibilities and job description for the Designer - Solar Electrical position at Ulteig?
The Opportunity
Ulteig is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Designer opening within the Solar Electrical group. The Designer supports an assigned group of engineers and technicians by providing technical drafting and design support for solar projects with limited supervision.
What You'll Do
- Successful candidates will design and develop plans for solar projects by drawing accurate models on a given software platform.
- Apply knowledge of solar designs and utilize CAD modeling and existing Microsoft Excel tools to design solar plant layouts, collection systems, and supporting details while providing technical guidance to other technicians and engineers.
- Work with other technicians to organize existing and develop new CAD processes and standards to be used across the solar department.
- Help train technicians and engineers on solar standards and CAD processes.

Additional Opportunity Details :
Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $73,800-$99,900
