Responsibilities

- Develop personalized acupuncture treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
- Administer acupuncture treatments using sterile needles in accordance with safety protocols.
- Monitor patients during treatments to ensure comfort and address any concerns.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatment progress and outcomes.
- Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture and provide guidance on complementary therapies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in acupuncture techniques and holistic health practices.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it relates to acupuncture.
- Certification in acupuncture from an accredited institution.
- Proficient in patient assessment techniques and physical examinations.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to acupuncture and holistic health.
- Excellent patient service skills with a focus on compassionate care.
- Ability to manage acute pain effectively through targeted treatment strategies.
- Experience with trigger point therapy as part of a holistic approach to pain management.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team members.
*Insurance Credentialing with ASH (Preferred) or willingness to become in-network is a plus.
