Simulation Engineer

We are seeking a Simulation Engineer to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for creating and modifying computer application software or specialized utility programs.

Simulation Engineer

Responsibilities :

  • Construct sophisticated military models and scenarios in AFSIM, accurately simulating real-world engagements.
  • Develop dynamic scripting techniques to enhance entity actions and interactions within AFSIM.
  • Collaborate with pilots, engineers, and technologists to ensure models and simulations meet operational needs.
  • Support analysis studies and scenario execution , providing actionable insights based on AFSIM data.
  • Work alongside agile software development teams to enhance MS&A solutions.
  • Present findings to key stakeholders, including military and defense leaders.

What You Bring :

  • Education & Experience :
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or a related technical field.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with AFSIM modeling and scenario development for engagement / mission-level studies.
  • Skills & Qualifications :
  • Active TS-level U.S. DoD security clearance (required).
  • Strong scripting or programming skills (Python, C , or similar).
  • Ability to apply scientific methods to complex MS&A efforts .
  • Excellent communication skills —you can explain complex concepts clearly.
  • A team player who thrives in collaborative, high-stakes environments .
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

    • Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points!) :

  • Master’s degree in engineering, science, or a related field.
  • TS / SCI clearance or higher.
  • Experience with NGTS, LVC, OneSAF, Python, or C .
  • Familiarity with modern military systems, both foreign and domestic.
