What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dance Teacher position at Ultimate Dance On The Move?
Ultimate Dance is a dance studio located in Plano and Naperville IL. We are actively seeking an amazing dance instructor/sub to teach whose heart and soul is dedicated to their teachings and students. As our mission is to empower all of our students to better themselves and others around them, we are in need of a teacher who has a creative mind in goal setting, dreams, and creations of new things to better our community. In our community at the studio we strive to welcome and treat all students with value and expect our potential instructors to do this as well. Class style will be based on experience of future dance instructor.
Part time- Job Details:
- Looking for instructors of any availability Morning and/or Evenings (Monday- Saturday) Starting ASAP (office admin openings are available for extra hours)
- Part time and full time positions available (1 day a week to full time)
- Pay ranges is based on teaching and dance experience (starting at $20 )
- Currently looking for instructors with all level/style experience in either ballet, tap, hiphop, acro/tumbling, jazz, lyrical/contemporary experience, competition choreography/cleaning. Levels range from introductory classes through advance. Ages 2-16
- Opportunities for growth through the business (management, company director, ect.)
- Must be willing to get fingerprinting and/or drug screening done (Following DCFS standards)
- Ability to teach kids
- Must be able to communicate effectively with parents, staff and admin
- Must have a reliable transportation
- Must be willing to sign our companies contract and follow rules and policies
- All teachers will be hired on as an independent contractor
- Must be able to create and perform lesson plans for each class and provide own music
- Must have 2 years of previous teaching experience and previous dance experience
- Must be willing to continue training
- Must be willing to work recitals, other events, and attend meetings
- Must be willing to follow our COVID procedures
- If working at a studio location, instructors must be comfortable opening and closing the business depending on the day.

Pay: $20.00 - $45.00 per hour
