What are the responsibilities and job description for the Insurance Coordinator position at Ultimate Dental Group?
We are looking for a Insurance Coordinator who is friendly, outgoing, reliable, and skilled at multitasking.
We are a busy corporate office operating in Centreville that handles the inputting of patient's dental insurance into the system for 7 dental offices. We do not communicate with patients whatsoever. A day at the office consists of you gathering insurance breakdowns for the patients policies whether it be navigating dental websites or calling in for the information by speaking to representatives.
Qualifications:
- Must have computer knowledge (Google docs, Microsoft word, etc)
- Must have experience working with dental insurances
- Must have strong communication skills, an attention to detail, be hardworking and meticulous
- Excellent phone experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skill
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Utilizing websites to gather information
- Duties include, reviewing patient's accounts ensuring for accuracy, making phone calls to various insurance companies for explanation of dental benefits, denials, status of claims.
- Inputting information into system
- Insurance verification
- Teamwork and flexibility in helping where needed and multitasking is a must
- Additional tasks as directed by supervisor
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
