Job Summary: The Permit Coordinator will be responsible for managing and securing all necessary permits required for various plumbing, excavation, and development projects. This role involves close collaboration with project managers, administrative team, and government agencies to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and timely acquisition of permits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify required permits for various projects.
- Prepare and submit permit applications to local, and state agencies.
- Monitor the progress of permit applications and follow up with relevant authorities.
- Maintain accurate records of all permit applications, approvals, and related documentation.
- Coordinate with project managers and contractors to ensure all necessary permits are obtained before project commencement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for permit-related inquiries.
- Stay updated on changes in regulations and requirements that may impact the permitting process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in construction management, business administration, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in permit coordination, project management, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal permitting processes and regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
