What are the responsibilities and job description for the Drywall Service Technician position at Ultimate Drywall Inc.?
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties related to hanging, taping/mudding, texturing/spraying and sanding. Jobs range anywhere from remodels to quick touch ups. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Duties:
Projects typically last 1 day to a week, general scheduling usually occurring 48 hours in advance, oftentimes with more than 2 days' notice. A company van with fleet card may be provided after probationary period is completed. Probationary period will involve training with one of our current technicians.
Requirements:
- Ability to perform drywall light checks, tape projects typically under 75 sheets, spray texture ceiling patches, patch drywall and finish as needed
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
