Our Integrated Community Support (ICS) program provides personalized assistance in an apartment-based setting, helping clients achieve independence while fostering a supportive community environment.
*Filling roles Monday to Sunday 9am-5pm
Duties
- Assist individuals with daily living tasks, including meal preparation, medication management, and personal care.
- Support clients in achieving their goals related to independence, health, and well-being.
- Promote skill-building and provide guidance on budgeting, household management, and social interactions.
- Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive living environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and client progress.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and licensing standards.
Skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
- Experience or knowledge in special education practices is highly desirable.
- Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities, demonstrating patience and understanding.
- Proficiency in American Sign Language is a plus for effective communication with clients who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Background in childcare or caregiving is beneficial for understanding the needs of diverse populations.
- Familiarity with behavioral health principles and behavior management techniques is essential for this role.
- Research data collection skills are valuable for assessing client progress and outcomes.
