Administrative Coordinator (Commercial Construction) - Frederick, MDLocation: Frederick, MDEmployment Type: Full-TimeIndustry: Commercial ConstructionMonday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pmAbout Us:A well-established commercial construction company in Frederick, MD, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to support daily operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of construction projects by ensuring smooth administrative processes and office efficiency.Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage multiple databases to track projects from lead stage through final invoicing and collections.
  • Design and compile presentations and proposals using Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office.
  • Enter new job information into the online scheduling system and upload all relevant project details.
  • Respond to emails and phone calls on behalf of the Preconstruction Manager.
  • Manage all Miss Utility requests, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
  • Provide ongoing support to project management throughout the construction process.
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Quick learner with strong multitasking skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Above average proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Adobe required.
  • Prior database management experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Commercial construction background preferred but not required.
