Responsibilities: We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Benefits and Compensation HR professional with a strong work ethic, discretion, and a sense of humor to support the CEO across multiple functions. Benefits and Compensation HR Specialist
SALARY: $110,000/annually
SCHEDULE: M-F, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
LOCATION: Burlington, MA (on-site)
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Assist in calculating annual performance-based salary increases and draft associated memos for approval and distribution.
- Facilitate employee promotions and position changes, ensuring smooth execution.
- Monitor and track the Bonus Program schedule, supporting its execution by:
- Calculating payments based on Bonus Program criteria.
- Drafting Bonus Memos for approval and distributing them to Payroll, HR, and Management.
- Execute high-priority and time-sensitive tasks across various business functions to streamline operations.
- Prepare and track Change Status Memos related to staff promotions and position changes.
- Draft internal communications, including employee updates, website announcements, and other company-wide messages.
- Assist in planning and coordinating corporate events as needed.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in operational execution, compensation, benefits administration, HR analytics, and complex spreadsheet management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel), including
- MS Word: Mail Merge, Table of Contents, and Styles.
- MS Excel: Formulas, Filters, and advanced functions such as Look-up, If, and Round.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and complete tasks efficiently.
- Background in supporting government service contracts.
- Are self-motivated and take initiative without requiring constant supervision.
- Are resourceful, intellectually curious, and capable of quickly learning and applying new concepts.
