Ultimate Staffing Services is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join a reputable pharmacy team in Kansas. The Pharmacy Technician will play a crucial role in assisting the Pharmacist with prescription fulfillment, maintaining pharmacy records, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This position is 100% onsite, offering stability and growth opportunities within a dynamic healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Pharmacist in fulfilling prescriptions, including packaging, inventory, and record-keeping tasks.
- Perform data entry, adjudicate claims, and handle tasks related to prescription processing.
- Provide customer support through inbound and outbound telephonic communication.
- Contact physicians for refill authorizations and collect pertinent patient information.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal laws by assisting the Pharmacist in procedure and record maintenance.
- Handle other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required; an AA is preferred.
- Registered as a pharmacy technician with the Kansas State Board of Pharmacy and National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
- 2-4 years of recent experience as a pharmacy technician in a licensed pharmacy.
- Experience in Retail or Specialty Pharmacy is preferred.
- Demonstrated computer skills and exceptional customer service skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Detail-oriented, accurate, and efficient in task execution.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
Required Work Hours
Two shift options are available:
- Shift 1: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM & Saturday 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM (one weekday off to be decided)
- Shift 2: Monday-Friday 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Training for both shifts will occur from 3/3 or 3/17 to 5/2, with Saturday shifts starting on 5/3 for Shift 1.
Benefits
Competitive pay rate of $21 per hour.

Must have a Kansas license and be nationally certified.
