Ultimate Staffing is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Director of Operations to oversee the daily operations of our client's distribution center in Hunt Valley, MD. The ideal candidate will develop and implement operational strategies, optimize performance, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. This role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and the ability to foster a collaborative work environment.
Location: Hunt Valley, MD
Pay: $150k-$170k/annually
Schedule: Monday-Friday 100% in-office
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost savings.
- Lead, mentor, and develop managers and supervisors, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Oversee logistics operations, including receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, while coordinating with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, enforce safety standards, and lead audit and inspection responses.
- Manage operational budgets, analyze financial reports, and drive cost-saving initiatives to align with corporate financial objectives.
- Collaborate with sales and program management teams to align operations with business growth objectives and customer requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, businesses administration, or a related field
- 10 years' experience in operations management, particularly within a distribution or logistics environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in logistics and inventory management software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent skills in multi-tasking and problem resolution
