Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing Services is seeking an experienced College Student Accounts Manager / Bursar for a full-time, direct hire position in East Los Angeles. This role is crucial for managing the financial operations related to student accounts, tuition billing, and collections. The Bursar will ensure compliance with institutional policies and government regulations while providing excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff. The salary range for this position is $97k-$118k.
Responsibilities
- Oversee tuition billing, payment processing, and student account management.
- Ensure timely collection of tuition, fees, and other institutional charges.
- Administer financial aid disbursements, refunds, and account adjustments.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations related to student financial accounts.
- Manage student payment plans and collaborate with students to resolve outstanding balances.
- Provide financial counseling and guidance on payment options and account holds.
- Prepare reports and financial statements related to student accounts and revenue.
- Work closely with the Finance, Financial Aid, and Registrar's offices to ensure accurate student financial records.
- Supervise Bursar's Office staff, including training and performance management.
- Implement and improve policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and service quality.
