DISPATCHER
Chino, CA
Salary : $20-$25 / hour
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Act as a liaison for the day-to-day routing between Customer Care, Inbound Logistics, Shipping and Transportation.
- Verify items shipped by matching bills of lading, reconciling quantities, noting discrepancies.
- Reviews weekly demand / volume for routes
- Re-routes, Plans, distributes, monitors and preforms follows-up on daily route assignments
- Communicates changes to shipping, transportation and customers as needed in real time.
- Ensures that trucks are mapped to make their deliveries.
- Inspects loading operations to ensure compliance with shipping specifications.
- Interacts with drivers regarding their routes and load quality
