Ultimate Staffing is hiring for a Machine Operator at a family-owned custom shipping company located in Santa Clara, CA. This is a temp to hire opportunity and the hourly pay rate is $18.20 with the opportunity for advancement to a level 2 operator with an hourly increase to $29.
Job Description :
- Assists Operators in setting up machines which includes but is not limited to slotting knives, heads, feed section, print plates, and die-cut tooling.
- May help with mounting printing plates and cutting dies.
- May ink the machine and use chemicals to adjust ink properties, and clean printing plates.
- Feeds corrugated sheets.
- Cuts strapping from corrugated bales.
- Lifts pallets.
- Helps clean the machine.
- Maintains a clean work area at all times.
- Chemicals used : cold glue, silicone spray, water-based flexographic ink, pH adjuster, Antifoam, Myer Ameri-clear
