Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Quality Technician to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will be responsible for conducting inspections, data recording, and supporting the quality assurance process from incoming materials to final product release.
About the Role: As a Manufacturing Quality Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our products meet rigorous internal standards and customer expectations. You will be responsible for performing inspections, data recording, and supporting the quality assurance process from incoming materials to final product release.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of raw materials, customer-supplied materials, returned goods, and special components.
- Perform in-process, start-up, and final product inspections.
- Monitor specific areas of production as directed by the Quality Supervisor.
- Accurately measure and document data using inspection forms and job cards.
- Perform tests and collect data for Statistical Process Control (SPC), as needed.
- Report non-conformances and process issues to the Quality Control Supervisor.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers regarding test failures and process deviations.
- Set up computer label printing programs for production lines.
- Support engineering projects by assisting with experimental testing.
- Enter inspection results into the BMS system.
- Complete additional quality-related tasks.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a quality control or inspection role in a manufacturing setting is a plus.
