Immediate opening for a Member Services Specialist. Must have Insurance / Benefits and Non-profit industry experience.
R ESPONSIBILITIES AND D UTIES
- Serves as a primary point of contact for member service inquiries
- Actively listen and engage members and fellow team members with a "can do" attitude
- Triaging and escalating complex and urgent member issues as needed
- Maintaining detail-oriented working knowledge of member benefits
- Member application process
- Assists in member billing and accounts
- Assists with communication and messaging functions to promote organization
- Will make presentations to classes
- Provides support to areas of marketing and communications
- Prepares monthly reports to the Board of Trustees
- Performs other duties as assigned
Q UALIFICATIONS :
Preferred education level :
Bachelor's degree
Desired Experience and Specialized Knowledge :
Experience working for or with non-profit organizations / associations.
