Title: Project Coordinator/Administrator
Contract Duration: 3-6 months
Compensation: $27-30/hr
Location: SW Portland
About the role:
Responsible for monitoring and tracking projects as well as managing procurement of materials and providing customer communication.
*experience in electrical, low voltage, construction, building, or energy industries required.
Position Responsibilities:
- RFI document review
- Creating, processing and executing project change orders
- Design Revision interpretation
- Electrical, low voltage, fire alarm and/or other technology floor plan and riser sheets
- Oversee procurement and verification of project schedules
- Process all permitting requests to appropriate Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ)
- Coordinate timely delivery of equipment to the job site and close-out documents
- Provide updates and reports to department managers of project statuses
- Inform customers and sales representatives when material and/or labor is required
- Coordinate with internal project stakeholder to meet customer's labor requirements
- Process change orders, releasing equipment, filing, Certificate of Insurance, and Warranty Letters
- Establish a process of billing to projects
- Use problem-solving skills to resolve customers issues and contract disputes as needed
- Create purchase orders for subcontractors
- Work closely with our sales team for coordination and follow up on project bookings
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years' project coordinator experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Associates degree preferred
- Electrical or construction industry experience is desirable
- Experience in a high-volume customer service environment is ideal
