Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a Purchasing Assistant for a contract position with a reputable client in Oregon. This role involves crucial support to the purchasing department by managing purchase requisitions and orders, ensuring efficient and smooth operations within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
- Track projects to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Conduct data mining, analysis, and management to support purchasing decisions.
- Coordinate with functional owners, financing, accounting, and accounts payable.
- Process new requests and change orders as needed.
- Run and manage reports in Workday to provide insights and updates to the team.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a purchasing or administrative support role is beneficial.
- Prior experience creating and managing purchase orders is a must.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data analysis and management.
- Experience with Workday or similar ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Required Work Hours
The position requires availability from Monday to Friday during standard business hours.
Benefits
- The contract offers a competitive pay range with a minimum pay of $20 per hour and a maximum pay of $22.50 per hour.
