What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Specialist position at Ultimate Staffing?
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join a client in Hayward. The role is with a health and nutrition services client. This is a temp-to-hire position. This is a 100% onsite position. Hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm with a starting pay of $25-$28 an hour.
Job Duties:
- Coordinate with client lab to ensure that specifications are accurate before being sent for testing.
- Verify invoices match test prices.
- Manage and track QC tests after they are received and sending to the lab.
- Obtain PO's from accounting for tests.
- Coordinate tests.
- Be the internal point of contact to relay test results.
- File reports on QC.
- Communicate with vendors on tests and maintenance.
- Follow lab safety practices.
- Organize samples.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or Associate's Degree
- Chemistry background a plus.
- Strong MS Office and computer skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
