What are the responsibilities and job description for the Test Technician Day Shift position at Ultimate Staffing?
Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Test Technician to join a client in Mountain View. This is a full-time, direct hire position on the day shift. Hours are Monday - Friday 6 : 00 am - 2 : 30 pm.
Job Duties :
- Fabricate YIG devices based on precise engineering specifications.
- Conduct electrical and microwave testing on YIG components, ensuring they meet performance requirements.
- Align, test, troubleshoot, and perform acceptance testing on microwave hardware (up to 26.5 GHz).
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of microwave YIG device architecture.
- Adjust YIG oscillators and filters to achieve targeted frequency and performance metrics.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within YIG components in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Perform inspections and quality control checks to ensure YIG devices comply with technical standards and company guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records for all fabrication, testing, and tuning processes, including data sheets and test results.
- Regularly calibrate and maintain testing and fabrication equipment to ensure consistent accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to enhance production processes and improve performance.
- Exhibit a positive attitude, energy, and enthusiasm in the workplace.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working in the lab and handling materials.
