What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trademark and Litigation Legal Assistant position at Ultimate Staffing?
We are seeking an experienced Trademark & Litigation Assistant to support attorneys in domestic and international trademark management and litigation. This role involves docket management, legal document preparation, client communication, and case tracking in state and federal courts.
This role will be primarily in office, with 4 remote days per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in U.S. and international trademark prosecution, filings, and TTAB actions.
- Support litigation needs, including court filings, discovery, and case tracking.
- Draft, proofread, and format legal documents.
- Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and court appearances.
- Communicate with clients, foreign associates, and courts.
- Maintain legal files and provide general office support.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 3-5 years' law firm experience in trademarks and litigation.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and project management.
- Knowledge of USPTO procedures, civil procedures, and e-filing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Professional; familiarity with Anaqua, SurePoint, and Concur is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
