The Role

We are looking to add a Sales Manager or Director to join our team to contribute to our mission. This pivotal role will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic partnerships, and leading a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of the audio-visual industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and revenue goals. Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to ensure high performance and achievement of sales objectives. Provide ongoing training and development to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales team.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction at all times.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and strategic alliances. Develop and execute strategies to expand the company’s market presence and customer base.
- Sales Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports to senior management. Utilize data and insights to adjust sales strategies and improve overall sales performance.
- Budget Management: Help oversee the sales budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve sales targets. Monitor expenses and manage the sales team’s financial performance.
- Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the company’s products and services, as well as industry advancements. Provide clients with accurate and up-to-date information and demonstrate the value of our solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
Competencies
Must-Haves
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 5-7 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Experience defining and tracking sales metrics
Nice-to-Haves
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Sales experience in the commercial audio-visual industry
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the commercial audio-visual industry, including market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies
