Job Title: Junior Property Manager
Location: Boston, MA
Seeking a dynamic and motivated Junior Property Manager to join a property management firm that owns and operates multi-family apartment rentals, and commercial rentals in Boston and the surrounding area. The Junior Property Manager will be responsible for assisting in the management of a diverse portfolio of properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of the operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day management of multi-family apartment rentals, single-family home rentals, and commercial rentals.
- Handle tenant inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair requests, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to quality standards.
- Conduct property inspections to assess condition of apartments prior to tenant move out. In addition, to meeting underwriters or otherwise to conduct required inspections.
- Assist with leasing activities, processing applications, and executing lease agreements.
- Collaborate with the property management team to develop and implement strategies to attract and retain tenants.
- Ensure compliance with local rental regulations and fair housing laws.
- Assist in financial management tasks, including budgeting, and expense tracking.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to property management activities.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in property management, real estate, or customer service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software is desirable.
- Knowledge of local rental regulations and fair housing laws preferred.
