This part-time role offers an opportunity to grow into a permanent position within our company/ parent company.
THE JOB:
We are seeking a petscare live chat representative that would detail a role where an individual primarily interacts with owners of pets enrolled in a petscare facility through a live chat platform, providing information about the petscare's policies, schedules, activities, child development updates, addressing inquiries, and resolving concerns in a timely and professional manner, often requiring knowledge of pet care practices and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Responding to pet owners inquiries:
Answering questions about petscare hours, fees, curriculum, staff qualifications, enrollment process, and facility policies via live chat.
Providing updates on children's progress:
Sharing information about a pets daily activities, developmental and any relevant observations with pet owners through the chat platform.
Addressing concerns and complaints:
Professionally handling pet owners concerns related to their pets care, escalating issues to the appropriate staff if needed.
Communicating important announcements:
Sharing important information about facility closures, special events, or policy changes through the live chat function.
Maintaining accurate records:
Documenting parent interactions, inquiries, and any necessary follow-up actions within the chat system.
Promoting positive parent-staff relationships:
Building rapport with pet owners through friendly and informative live chat interactions.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in customer support and client services
- Experience in data entry and maintaining accurate records
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service abilities
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and general computer skills
- Ability to collaborate with sales teams and handle outbound calls
- Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are a plus
- All candidates must reside in the USA or Canada.
