We are a growing petscare that focuses on pets' health, happiness, and comfort. As our team expands, we're looking for a detail-oriented, reliable, and organized Data Analyst to join our team. This part-time role offers an opportunity to grow into a permanent position within our company/ parent company.
We are seeking a petscare data analyst that will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing data related to the operations and activities of a petscare center, identifying trends and insights to inform decision-making regarding pets development, staff performance, facility usage, and overall program quality, often utilizing data visualization tools to present findings to stakeholders.
Key responsibilities may include:
Data Collection:
Gathering data from various sources like attendance records, pets development assessments, staff observations, incident reports, feedback surveys, and curriculum tracking systems.
Data Cleaning and Organization:
Cleaning and standardizing data to ensure accuracy, including removing duplicates and resolving inconsistencies.
Data Analysis:
Performing statistical analysis to identify patterns, trends, and correlations within the data, including looking at pets progress, staff effectiveness, and facility utilization.
Reporting and Visualization:
Creating clear and concise reports with data visualizations (graphs, charts) to communicate key findings to daycare management, staff, and owners.
Performance Monitoring:
Tracking progress on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to pets development, safety, staff training, and regulatory compliance.
Quality Improvement Initiatives:
Using data analysis to identify areas for improvement in the petscare program and supporting the implementation of evidence-based practices.
Compliance Reporting:
Ensuring data accuracy for regulatory reporting requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in SQL and analysis techniques.
- Experience with regulatory reporting and data visualization tools such as Tableau and Looker.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management principles.
- Knowledge of SDLC, ETL processes, and programming languages including R and Python.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and relevant tools like Talend and Oracle.
- All candidates must reside in the USA or Canada.
