Job Title: Automatic Car Wash Attendant

Job Overview:
As an Automatic Car Wash Attendant, you will play a critical role in the daily operations of our car wash facility. Your responsibilities will include guiding vehicles safely through the wash tunnel, ensuring the facility is clean and organized, and assisting with various maintenance and cleaning tasks. The position requires physical stamina, the ability to work in varying weather conditions, and a strong commitment to customer service. You will work closely with a team to ensure a positive and efficient experience for all customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Guidance & Tunnel Safety:
• Stand for extended periods of time, guiding vehicles safely into the car wash tunnel.
• Ensure all vehicles are properly positioned and move smoothly through the wash process.
• Assist customers with any questions or concerns before they go through the wash.
• Cleaning & Maintenance:
• Empty trash bins throughout the facility and ensure the parking lot, vacuum areas, and surrounding spaces are clean and free of debris.
• Regularly clean the wash tunnel, including spraying down equipment and ensuring everything is in proper working order.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks as required, including cleaning and sanitizing areas after shifts or during scheduled cleaning days.
• Helping clear snow during the winter months and making sure the property is salted before and after snow fall.
• Shift Flexibility & Operational Support:
• Be available for early morning and late-night cleaning duties, ensuring the facility is maintained before and after business hours.
• Participate in all mandatory safety meetings, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and protocols.
• Assist with general facility upkeep, including the deep cleaning of the wash tunnel after the PM shift.
• Problem Solving & Customer Service:
• Be proactive in identifying and solving problems that arise while on-site, ensuring minimal disruption to the wash process.
• Maintain a positive, friendly attitude when interacting with customers, addressing concerns or complaints with positive solutions.
• Ensure that customers are satisfied with their experience by providing helpful information when needed.
• Team Collaboration & Performance:
• Work efficiently and cooperatively with team members to ensure the car wash runs smoothly.
• Demonstrate reliable attendance and consistently meet performance standards.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and work ethic during every shift, regardless of weather conditions.

What You Will Need:

• Age & Licensing Requirements:
• Must be 18 years or older.
• A valid driver’s license (non-intermediate or permit).
• Physical & Environmental Requirements:
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and walking.
• Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing 40-50 lbs.
• Ability to work in both hot and cold weather conditions, as the role requires working outside in all seasons.
• Customer Service & Problem-Solving Skills:
• Ability to effectively handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a friendly, professional manner.
• A positive and friendly attitude, with the ability to de-escalate interpersonal issues and provide timely, appropriate solutions.
• Operational & Safety Awareness:
• Ability to rectify problems that may arise during operations, such as vehicle issues, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns.
• Maintain confidence and good judgment while operating equipment in various weather conditions.
• Attendance & Reliability:
• Punctual and reliable attendance, with the ability to work varying shifts, including weekends, early mornings, and late night cleaning.
• A strong work ethic and a commitment to consistently performing at a high standard.

Requirements:

• Must be able to work all shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must be physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 40-50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
• Must have reliable attendance and meet all performance standards.
• Able to follow instructions, maintain safety protocols, and keep the car wash facility clean and in working order.

Guide On position- $15.00/hr

The Guide on will guide the customers onto the conveyor and into the wash safely. This person need will need to be friendly, loud, and can give clear hand signals.

Car Wash Hours: 7:00am - 7:00pm Monday-Saturday & Sunday 9:00am-6:00pm
