Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Engineer to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and reducing costs within the production environment. This role involves analyzing workflows, designing efficient systems, and implementing best practices to enhance productivity, quality, and safety. The Industrial Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and quality assurance, to drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and implement cost-effective improvements.
- Design and optimize workflows, production layouts, and material flow to enhance productivity.
- Develop and implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- Evaluate and recommend equipment, technology, and automation solutions to enhance operations.
- Conduct time and motion studies to establish labor standards and improve workforce utilization.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Assess and improve safety procedures to comply with OSHA and industry regulations.
- Create detailed reports and presentations on process improvements, cost savings, and operational metrics.
- Train employees on new procedures, best practices, and efficiency improvements.
- Work with suppliers and vendors to optimize the supply chain and reduce lead times.
