Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate robotic welding machines, ensuring proper machine calibration and programming
- Load, position, and secure workpieces, fixtures, and tooling
- Monitor the welding process to ensure high-quality welds that meet specifications
- Perform quality checks, inspect welds for accuracy, and adjust settings as needed
- Maintain and troubleshoot robotic welding equipment, ensuring it operates safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and quality standards
- Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized work environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in welding or robotics is a plus
- Previous experience with robotic welding systems is required (at least 2-5 years preferred)
- Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, and quality standards
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment
- Detail-oriented, with a focus on producing high-quality work
- Familiarity with safety practices and OSHA standards
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team
- Able to follow instructions carefully and work accurately
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn warehouse safety practices
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Extended periods of standing, kneeling, and working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to operate and handle tools and machinery safely and effectively
