Wellness Technician

Job Summary:

As a Wellness Technician at Ultra Cryo & Recovery, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality wellness and recovery services, including full-body cryotherapy, compression therapy, and infrared sauna sessions. Your primary focus will be on providing a safe and professional experience for each client, while educating them about the benefits of the services offered. Although sales consultations are not a direct part of this role, you will have opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services and generate referrals.

This position is perfect for someone passionate about wellness and recovery who enjoys delivering top-notch care and building strong relationships with clients.

This part-time role offers up to $15.00 per hour for 30-35 hours per week, Monday through Saturday.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all wellness and recovery services, including full-body cryotherapy, compression therapy, and infrared sauna sessions.
• Ensure client comfort and safety during all treatments, strictly following protocols and safety guidelines.
• Educate clients on the benefits and expected outcomes of wellness services and provide recommendations for post-treatment care.
• Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell services and products to enhance the client's experience.
• Generate client referrals through exceptional service and personalized recommendations.
• Maintain a professional, welcoming, and friendly atmosphere in the wellness and recovery department.
• Build lasting relationships with clients through consistent, quality service and ongoing engagement.
• Document all client services accurately, ensuring records are up to date.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and wellness equipment.
• Monitor and restock inventory for wellness supplies, reporting any shortages or needs.
• Collaborate with the front desk and management team to coordinate client appointments and schedules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in wellness, fitness, spa, or recovery services is preferred.
• Knowledge of cryotherapy, compression therapy, and infrared sauna treatments, or a willingness to learn.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on delivering a positive client experience.
• Ability to identify and recommend additional services without engaging in direct sales consultations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and friendly attitude.
• Ability to maintain high attention to detail and follow protocols in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to assist clients and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
